Turkey Residency Permit Renewal Process
You can apply for a renewal if you are a short term residence permit holder, or a family residence permit holder.
Renewal applications should be made within 60 days of the expiration of your residence permit. In case where your permit is valid for more than 60 days, you cannot apply for a renewal.
All renewal applications along with the required documents are to be sent Provincial Directorate of Migration Management by post. These should be mailed not later than five days of filling the online application form.
In cases where you need to amend the following details, you need to first get these updated by visiting Provincial Directorate of Migration Management, and then apply for renewal.
- First or surname
- Father’s or Mother’s name
- Marital Status
- Passport Number
- Birth Date
After these amendments are accepted and updated in the system, you can apply for a residence permit renewal.
